How to Know Whether Your Organization Is Ready for AI

July 22, 2026 · ALB Growth Agency

The honest answer to "should we use AI for this?" starts with a different question: is the process itself documented, consistent, and understood well enough that automating it wouldn't just automate the inconsistency?

An organization that can clearly describe its current-state workflow, name where it breaks down, and articulate the target future state is in a strong position to apply AI or any other technology to that workflow. An organization that can't yet describe its own process clearly isn't ready for automation — it's ready for the assessment and workflow-mapping work that has to happen first.
